For homeowners
Custom homes
Homes designed around how you live: the light, the lot, the way your family uses each room.
Your home, start to finish
We design new homes and major remodels across Houston's inner neighborhoods and beyond, from the Heights and Montrose to Spring Branch, plus projects as far as Colorado.
Every project starts with your lot and your list. We look at what the site, the deed restrictions and the city rules allow, then shape a plan around your family, your budget and the way the sun moves across the property.
You work directly with Luke from the first sketch through the last site visit, with permitting handled for you and contractor recommendations when you need them.
How it works
- 01
Schematic design
Your program, budget, site and code requirements become a first design. For remodels we measure and document the existing building.
- 02
Design development
We refine the design with your feedback and consultant input until it's approved.
- 03
Construction documents
The complete set for bidding, permitting and building, with engineering coordinated.
- 04
Bidding & permitting
Help getting bids and choosing a contractor, then permit approval.
- 05
Construction administration
Site visits to check the work against the drawings, catching mistakes early.

HU-169954 · HouzzSun Collective is a wonderful full service architecture firm. They went above and beyond what was expected for my house. Not only was design amazing and I am always getting compliments on my remodel/addition, but they handled permitting with the city and suggested which contractors to use to complete the job without any hassle. The job was done correctly the first time from using their suggestions. No time nor money was wasted. I highly recommend using Sun Collective.
